IGCC operates through a number of working groups, where members help shape IGCC’s position on key issues and promote industry engagement across a number of investment and climate change practice areas.
The Policy Committee is responsible for shaping and communicating IGCC’s position on all aspects of government policy and investment implications.
The Research Working Group (RWG) is responsible for deciding and overseeing IGCC’s research priorities and publications.
Property and Infrastructure
The Property and Infrastructure Working Group (PIWG) acts as a consultative forum to provide oversight and expertise on the investment implications of climate change risk and opportunity in the built environment.
Low Carbon Finance
The Low Carbon Finance Working Group (LCFWG) examines emerging trends in low carbon investing and projects of interest to group members.
The Adaptation Working Group (AWG) is responsible for increasing investor awareness and management of physical risk and adaptation investment.
The Disclosure Working Group (DWG) develops guidance for investors on meaningful and appropriate disclosure by investors, to their key stakeholders.
The Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) is an initiative to create awareness among Asia’s asset owners and financial institutions about the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and low carbon investing. AIGCC provides capacity for investors to share best practice and to collaborate on investment activity, credit analysis, risk management, engagement and policy.
