The 2010 Investor Summit on Climate Risk: Developing a Low-Carbon Economy, Leveraging Private Investment,  will serve as the first high-level forum for investors to meet and discuss the implications of the climate negotiations being held in Copenhagen this December.

This will be the fourth Summit organized to bring together leading institutional investors, state treasurers, and financial services firms worldwide to consider the scale and urgency of climate change risks and to analyze emerging investment strategies and opportunities. The Summit will explore how the rapid global shift to clean technologies and energy efficiency can stimulate economic growth, and will highlight how investors can participate in the low-carbon transition.

The 2010 Summit builds on the groundbreaking success of the first three UN Investor Summits in 2003, 2005 and 2008. Hundreds of institutional investors and asset managers from around the world, representing trillions of dollars in assets, attended previous Summits.

Participation is by invitation only.
