Kate Bromley

Full Member, Senior Manager, ESG Integration, Research & Reporting, Aware Super

Kate joined Aware Super as Senior Manager ESG Integration, Research & Reporting in January 2024 and has over 18 years’ experience holding ESG roles in the investment management industry. In her current role, Kate leads the development and implementation of the Fund’s climate transition strategy.

Kate is a purposeful and active contributor to the investor ESG conversation in Australia and previously held the role of chair of the Investor Group on Climate Change’s (IGCC) Physical Risk & Resilience Working Group. Kate participated in the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative Technical Working Group in 2019-2020 which led to the publication of Australia’s Sustainable Finance Roadmap.

Previously Kate spent six years at QIC as Head of Responsible Investment. During her time at QIC, Kate led the elevation of ESG as a strategic pillar within the business and established organisation-wide accountability through supporting the functioning of a Sustainability Advisory Committee. Kate built a high-performing central Responsible Investment team working across the business developing an organisation-wide net zero emissions strategy, key sustainability disclosures and a highly critical ESG data strategy.
