IGCC operates through a number of working groups, where members help shape IGCC’s position on key issues and promote industry engagement across a number of investment and climate change practice areas.

Paris Aligned Investment
Chair: Claire Molinari, Head of ESG, CareSuper and Guneet Rana, Executive Manager Responsible Investment, Colonial First State
The Paris Aligned Investment Working Group focuses on developing investor solutions for facilitating the transition to a net zero emissions economy in Australia and New Zealand, and to track global progress.
Physical Risk & Resilience
Chair: Kate Simmonds, Physical Risk Advisor, IGCC
The Physical Risk and Resilience Working Group is focused on developing solutions to enable investors to integrate physical risk and resilience into portfolio management, and drive more investment into adaptation solutions.
Policy & Advocacy
Chair: Erwin Jackson, Director, Policy, IGCC
The Policy & Advocacy Working Group coordinates IGCC’s advocacy and government engagement activities in support of IGCC’s Policies for a Resilient Net Zero Emissions Economy and maintains oversight on the role that companies and industry associations play in delivering constructive climate change policy outcomes.
Transparency & Thought Leadership
Chair: Sybil Dixon, Head of ESG Product, Vanguard
The Transparency & Thought Leadership Working Group works across all areas of strategic focus set out in the IGCC Strategy. This group works to increase climate-related reporting and transparency and also coordinates major pieces of research and analysis for IGCC.
Corporate Engagement (previously named Climate Action 100+ Australasian Engagement Group)
Chair: Andrew Gray, Director, ESG & Stewardship, AustralianSuper
IGCC coordinates investor participation in the global Climate Action 100+ project in Australia and New Zealand. The Climate Acion 100+ Australaisian Engagement Gorup is a forum for sharing tools and resources developed to facilitate company engagement activities and allows investor signatories share updates on engagement progress against the goals of the Climate Action 100+.
