Engagement with listed companies is a critical element of investment stewardship in pursuit of net zero. Doing it well is no easy task – with time, resources and expertise already stretched by competing priorities. Successful collaborative engagements between investors can help to lighten the load, encourage knowledge-sharing and build efficiencies…but presenting a united voice is not without its challenges.

- Participants in IIGCC’s Steel Value Chain CA100+ sector initiatives that has kicked off work with customers and policy makers in Europe.
- The Chair of the Materials and Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance (MECLA) Hudson Worsley (Founder and Director of Presync)on its approach to bringing industry together to solve decarbonisation challenges in the built environment.
- Laura Hillis (Director, Climate and Environment at the Church of England Pensions Board) on CoEPB’s pivot to demand-side engagement.
