Program Overview

Catalysing Action on Climate Change

Day one starts at lunch and will focus on Trustee, CEO, CIO and C-Suite related priorities. It will once again include the flagship session ‘Trustee Training on Climate Change mock board meeting’ and will continue the investor CEO Panel moderated by a respected media personality.

Day two will focus on key issues and practical implications for investors and practitioners in the finance community.

IGCC Climate Awards 2019

Finalists Announced

The IGCC Climate Awards, launched for the first time in 2019, seeks to spotlight the work of Australian and New Zealand asset owners, fund managers, investors and individuals delivering outstanding outcomes on climate change.

The winners will be announced at the Climate Awards held at the IGCC 2019 Summit on Monday 14 October at 4:30pm in Sydney.

Keynote Speaker – Dr Michael E. Mann

We are excited to announce that Dr Michael E. Mann will present a global update on the latest science on climate change.

Dr. Mann is Distinguished Professor of Atmospheric Science and Director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on climate science and climate change.

He is co-founder of the award-winning science website RealClimate.org, author of more than 200 peer-reviewed and edited publications, numerous op-eds and commentaries, and four books including Dire Predictions, The Hockey Stick and the Climate Wars, The Madhouse Effect and The Tantrum that Saved the World.
