Madeleine has been with IGCC since 2018, holding various roles at IGCC, such as team coordination, design, and communications, and now, managing IGCC’s collaborative investor projects, initiatives, and engagement.
Madeleine studied a Bachelor of Design in Photography and Situated Media (1st Class Hons) at UTS, where her background and experience in sustainability and climate change stemmed from. Madeleine’s research explored environmentalism in art and 18th-century literary accounts that focus on the natural landscape. Madeleine previously worked at the UTS School of Design, Architecture, and Building, teaching critical writing, design, and photography subjects. She is a volunteer at Pocket City Farms and Good On You. In 2019/20, Madeleine participated in the Climate Reality Project leadership training and was a mentee in the C40 Cities Women4Climate Mentorship Program.
Madeleine is also the Founder of Our Simple Gestures, an online platform to provide people the information and resources to reduce their environmental footprint, starting in the home.
