We’re Hiring: Head of Development

AIGCC and IGCC are looking for a Head of Development to lead our strategic revenue growth agenda — a newly created role reporting to the Director of Operations, working closely with our CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and program leads.

Together, our networks represent institutional investors managing more than AU$34 trillion in assets across 13 markets in Asia-Pacific. This role is central to how we sustain and grow the impact of that work.

What you’ll do:

• Build and lead a multi-year fundraising and funding diversification strategy across philanthropic, government, multilateral, and corporate partners
• Cultivate high-value funding partnerships and lead responses to major grant and RFP opportunities, including consortium bids
• Shape compelling funding propositions, investment cases, and partnership narratives in collaboration with our Communications and program teams
• Provide strategic leadership to our Development function, including coaching the Manager, Development & Philanthropy

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in strategic fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships, or business development, ideally in climate, sustainability, or the broader not-for-profit/impact sector
• A track record of securing significant multi-year funding partnerships
• Strong understanding of the climate finance funding landscape across APAC markets
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills

This is a flexible role — full-time or part-time, based in Australia, Asia, or another agreed location — for someone who wants to help unlock the capital needed to accelerate climate action across the region.
