IGCC is seeking a dedicated director, responsible for overseeing and coordinating IGCC’s corporate engagement program. Our current director of Corporate Engagement, Laura Hillis, is leaving to take up another role, the details of which have not yet been made public. Laura has had exceptional impact during her time at IGCC and although we wish her very well for her next job, she’ll be sorely missed here.

We comprise national bodies representing business, environment, farmers, investors, the social welfare sector and workers. Over the years we have found strong common ground on climate change policy and we encourage the Parliament to reflect the considerable consensus in the community.

Twenty of Australia’s most influential business and finance peak bodies have come to an unprecedented consensus on the need for sustainability reporting including action on climate risk through a new reporting regime that aims to set a global baseline. The group has welcomed the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) draft sustainability standards in a joint submission which collectively represents the voice of 20 peak professional, industry and investor bodies in Australia who came together to prepare the joint response to the two exposure drafts.

Regenerate & Restore – Circular Economy Discussion Paper For Investors

The Investor Group on Climate Change today released a new discussion paper on The Circular Economy – the systemic approach that has risen to prominence as a key method to address climate change. The paper will be launched at next week’s IGCC Climate Finance Summit in Sydney, before more than 300 institutional investors, corporate leaders, and policy-makers.
